Pride of Indy Bands is Indianapolis’s LGBTQ+ and allied community marching and concert band organization, one of the most enduring cultural institutions in Indiana’s queer community, preserving and celebrating Indy’s LGBTQ+ heritage through music, performance, and community engagement at Pride events, parades, and festivals throughout the year. The organization is a member of the Pride Bands Alliance and serves as a visible, joyful expression of LGBTQ+ identity and community pride on the streets of Indianapolis. Pride of Indy Bands welcomes musicians and allies of all skill levels who share a commitment to building community through music.
