Trinity Haven is Indiana’s first transitional living facility specifically designed to serve LGBTQ+ young adults ages 18-24 who are experiencing homelessness, providing safe transitional housing, case management, life skills programming, and community support in a fully affirming environment. Founded in 2020 through a partnership between Indiana Youth Group and Trinity Episcopal Church, Trinity Haven fills a critical gap — LGBTQ+ youth are dramatically over-represented among people experiencing homelessness, and most shelter environments are unsafe or unwelcoming for queer and trans young people. Trinity Haven is a landmark institution for Indianapolis’s LGBTQ+ community.
