Damien Center is Indianapolis’s primary LGBTQ+ health and wellness center, providing HIV prevention, testing, treatment support, and holistic health services for people living with HIV/AIDS and those at risk, as well as broader LGBTQ+ health and social services for the Indianapolis community. Founded in 1987 in response to the AIDS crisis, Damien Center has grown into one of the region’s most comprehensive LGBTQ+ social service organizations, offering housing assistance, mental health services, nutrition support, substance use counseling, and community programming. Damien Center is a cornerstone of Indianapolis’s LGBTQ+ community and a lifeline for the thousands of Hoosiers it serves each year.
