Big Car Collaborative is an Indianapolis-based nonprofit arts and social practice organization operating at the intersection of art, community, and urban life — producing public art, community programming, gallery exhibitions, and creative placemaking projects that make Indianapolis neighborhoods more vibrant, connected, and equitable. Operating from its Tube Factory artspace on the near southside, Big Car runs Service Center for Culture and Community, a free creative space offering drop-in studio access and arts programming for all. Big Car is a deeply inclusive organization and an important member of Indianapolis’s LGBTQ+ arts community, regularly presenting and supporting queer artists and stories.
