The Indianapolis LGBT Film Festival is an annual community film event — now in its 26th year — presenting LGBTQ+ feature films, documentaries, and short films from around the world and across Indiana at Kan-Kan Cinema and Brasserie on Indianapolis’s near eastside, organized by a dedicated team of volunteers. The festival has raised more than $75,000 for Indiana Youth Group (IYG), the longest continuously operating queer youth organization in North America, and serves as one of Indianapolis’s most beloved cultural events celebrating LGBTQ+ storytelling through cinema. Presented with the support of Indy Pride Inc., the festival has been a key part of Indianapolis’s cultural and LGBTQ+ identity since 2001.
