Blue Pan Pizza is an award-winning Detroit-style pizzeria with a Congress Park location at 3509 E 12th Avenue in Denver. Opened in 2015 by founders Jeff Smokevitch and Giles Flanagin, the shop is known for its airy, crackly crust built on Wisconsin brick cheese and a thick, tangy sauce, along with New York, tavern-thin, and gluten-free styles. USA Today named its gluten-free pie the sixth best in the country, and the brand now operates three neighborhood shops plus stands inside Empower Field at Mile High.
