Buddies is a newer LGBTQ+ bar and grill in the heart of Denver’s Colfax gayborhood, opened in September 2023 as an employee-owned establishment committed to full inclusion for the entire LGBTQ+ community and their allies. Buddies describes itself as a down-to-earth, come-as-you-are bar where you and your friends can meet up for a drink and a bite to eat without shouting over the music. Colgbtqcc Each week, the bar supports local LGBTQ+ nonprofits through a charity fundraiser that raises money for the community. Buddies Co-owned by industry veterans including a 19-year Wrangler bartender, Buddies was created to fill the gap left by Denver’s closure of several beloved queer spaces.
