Founded in 1974 with Harvey Milk as an original member, the Golden Gate Business Association (GGBA) is the world’s first LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce, serving the San Francisco Bay Area for over 50 years. A trailblazer in LGBTQ+ business advocacy, GGBA has championed procurement opportunities with major organizations including the NFL and BART, and helped introduce the LGBTBE certification program through its founding partnership with the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce.
