Founded in 1981 by nine gay business owners in Seattle, GSBA has grown into the largest LGBTQ+ and allied chamber of commerce in North America, serving over 1,300 members across Washington State. A founding member of the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce, GSBA is renowned for its advocacy, its first-in-the-nation LGBTQ+ scholarship fund, and its tireless work combining business development with social action to expand economic opportunities for the community.
